(1) Connect an ohmmeter to the outside
terminals of the selector, and set the
meter on the RX1 scale. The read-
ing should be 2 ohms. If the read-
ing is more or less than 2 ohms re-
place the intensity selector.
(2) Connect the ohmmeter to the center
terminal and either outside terminal.
Set the meter on the RX1 scale.
Turn the intensity selector in a clock-
wise direction until it stops; the me-
ter should have a zero reading. Then
turn the intensity selector in a coun-
terclockwise direction until it stops.
The reading should be 2 ohms. If
the readings are not as described, re-
place the intensity selector.
Note. Make sure that the ohmmeter used
for the above tests is in proper working
