contactor.
b. Installation.
(1) Refer to figure 3-12 and install the
contactor.
(2) Install the welder top and housing
c. Field Expedient Repair. If the contactor
becomes defective, place a jumper wire across
the terminals and bypass the contactor.
Caution: Performance of any field expedi-
ent repair creates a condition possibly dan-
gerous to equipment and personnel. A weld-
ing machine so repaired must be taken out of
service as soon as possible for replacement
of the defective part.
