Remove work surface (Figure 5, Item 4) from top of cabinet (D) (Figure 5, Item 5).
6.
Remove four bolts (Figure 5, Item 10), eight lat washers (Figure 5, Item 9), four lock washers (Figure 5, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 5, Item 8) detaching two cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 11) from shelf cabinet (D)
(Figure 5, Item 5).
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
SHELF CABINET (D)
1.
If cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 11) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM
1-1500-204-23. Repair must not interfere with form, it, or function of cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 11).
2.
Paint repaired cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 11) IAW WP 0069 00, Figure 6.
INSTALLATION
SHELF CABINET (D)
1.
Align bolt holes in work surface (Figure 5, Item 4) with bolt holes (Figure 5, Item 12) on top of shelf cabinet (D)
(Figure 5, Item 5).
2.
Install four bolts (Figure 5, Item 1), four lock washers (Figure 5, Item 2), and four lat washers (Figure 5, Item
3), securing work surface (Figure 5, Item 4) to shelf cabinet (D) (Figure 5, Item 5).
3.
Install four bolts (Figure 5, Item 10), eight lat washers (Figure 5, Item 9), four lock washers (Figure 5, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 5, Item 8) securing two cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 11) into shelf cabinet (D)
(Figure 5, Item 5).
4.
If a new shelf cabinet (D) (Figure 5, Item 5) has been installed:
a.
Use holes (Figure 5, Item 6 and 7) of existing work surface(Figure 5, Item 4) to determine drill bit sizes.
b.
Match drill holes of work surface (Figure 5, Item 4) through shelf cabinet (D) (Figure 5, Item 5).
5.
If a new work surface (Figure 5, Item 4) has been installed and/or a new work surface and shelf cabinet (D)
(Figure 5, Item 5) has been installed:
a.
Measure from left side of work surface (Figure 5, Item 4) towards right 17.00 inches and from front of
work surface (Figure 5, Item 4) towards back 4.50 inches and mark measurement (Figure 5, Item 7).
b.
Measure from left side of work surface (Figure 5, Item 4) towards right 8.50 inches and from front of work
surface (Figure 5, Item 4) towards back 4.50 inches and mark measurement (Figure 5, Item 6).
c.
Center punch and drill two 1/2 inch holes (Figure 5, Item 6 and 7) through work surface (Figure 5, Item
4) and shelf cabinet (D) (Figure 5, Item 5).
6.
Install hardware attaching shelf cabinet (D) (Figure 5, Item 5) to shelter loor IAW WP 0043 00, Cabinets (C),
(D), and (E) Hardware, INSTALLATION.
7.
Install drawers, slides, and shelves as necessary IAW WP 0043 00, Drawers, Slides, And Shelves,
INSTALLATION.
8.
Install kick plate IAW Kick Plate, INSTALLATION.
