Inspect all cabinet assembly hardware (Figure 4, Item 1, 2, 3, 19, 20, and 21) for rust, cracks and rounded
heads. Replace as necessary.
REMOVAL
4 DRAWER CABINET (A), 6 DRAWER CABINET (B), 4 DRAWER
CABINET (C), AND 4 DRAWER CABINET (D) (SC4920-99-B70)
1.
Remove kick plate IAW Kick Plate , REMOVAL.
2.
Remove drawers, slides, and shelves as necessary IAW Drawers, Slides, And Shelves , REMOVAL.
3.
Remove hardware detaching four drawer cabinet (A) (Figure 4, Item 5), six drawer cabinet (B) (Figure 4, Item
7), four drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 10), and four drawer cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 12) from shelter
loor and wall IAW WP 0041 00, Cabinets (E) Hardware , REMOVAL.
4.
Remove four lag bolts (Figure 4, Item 1), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 2), and four small lat washers
(Figure 4, Item 3) detaching work surface (Figure 4, Item 6) from four drawer Cabinet (A) (Figure 4, Item 5)
and six drawer cabinet (B) (Figure 4, Item 7).
5.
Remove work surface (Figure 4, Item 6) from top of four drawer cabinet (A) (Figure 4, Item 5) and six drawer
cabinet (B) (Figure 4, Item 7).

Remove four lag bolts (Figure 4, Item 1), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 2), and four lat washers (Figure 4,
Item 3) detaching work surface (Figure 4, Item 11) from four drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 10) and four
drawer cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 12).
7.
Remove work surface (Figure 4, Item 11) from top of four drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 10) and four
drawer cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 12).
8.
Remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 19), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item 20), four lock washers (Figure 4,
Item 2), and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 21) detaching two cabinet brackets (Figure 4, Item 18) from four drawer
cabinet (A) (Figure 4, Item 5) and four drawer cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 12).
9.
Remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 19), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item 3), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 21) detaching six drawer cabinet (B) (Figure 4, Item 7) from four drawer
cabinet (A) (Figure 4, Item 5).
10. Remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 19), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item 3), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 21) detaching four drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 10) from six drawer
cabinet (B) (Figure 4, Item 7).
11. Remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 19), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item 3), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 21) detaching shelf cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 12) from four drawer cabinet
(C) (Figure 4, Item 10).
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
4 DRAWER CABINET (A), 6 DRAWER CABINET (B), 4 DRAWER
CABINET (C), AND 4 DRAWER CABINET (D) (SC4920-99-B70)
1.
If cabinet brackets (Figure 4, Item 18) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM
1-1500-204-23. Repair must not interfere with form, it, or function of cabinet brackets (Figure 4, Item 18).
2.
Paint repaired cabinet brackets (Figure 4, Item 18) IAW WP 0061 00, Figure 3.
