INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS CONTINUED
1.
Inspect downdraft table assembly (Figure 1) for damage. Replace as necessary.
2.
Inspect downdraft table hardware (Figure 1, Item 2, 3, 6, and 7) for rust, cracks and rounded heads. Replace
as necessary.
REMOVAL
Remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), eight lat washers (Figure 1, Item 3), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 6),
and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 7) detaching downdraft table bracket (Figure 1, Item 4) from downdraft table pedestal
feet (Figure 1, Item 5).
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
1.
If downdraft brackets (Figure 1, Item 4) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM 1-1500-204-
23. Repair must not interfere with form, it, or function of cabinet brackets (Figure 1, Item 4).
2.
Paint repaired cabinet brackets (Figure 1, Item 4) IAW WP 0061 00, Figure 2.
INSTALLATION
Instal four bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), eight lat washers (Figure 1, Item 3), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 6), and
four nuts (Figure 1, Item 7) attaching downdraft table brackets (Figure 1, Item 4) to downdraft table pedestal feet
(Figure 1, Item 5).
