INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS CONTINUED
WORK TABLE ASSEMBLY (SINGLE ROLL) CONTINUED
1.
Inspect work table assembly (Figure 1) for damage. Replace as necessary.
2.
Ensure rivets (Figure 1, Item 8) securing lanyards (Figure 1, Item 9) are secure.
3.
Inspect work table hardware (Figure 1, Item 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 16, 17, and 18) for rust, cracks and rounded heads.
Replace as necessary.
REMOVAL
WORK TABLE ASSEMBLY (SINGLE ROLL)
1.
Lift dust cover (Figure 1, Item 2) by releasing hook Velcro (Figure 1, Item 20) from loop Velcro (Figure 1, Item
12).
2.
Remove hook Velcro (Figure 1, Item 20) by peeling strip away from dust cover (Figure 1, Item 2).
3.
Remove loop Velcro (Figure 1, Item 12) by peeling strip away from work table (Figure 1, Item 19).
4.
Remove eight sheet metal screws Figure 1, Item 3) and eight lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4) detaching dust
cover (Figure 1, Item 2) from work surface (Figure 1, Item 1).
5.
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 on opposite side of work table (Figure 1, Item 19).
6.
Drill out rivet (Figure 1, Item 8) detaching lanyard (Figure 1, Item 9) from work table (Figure 1, Item 19).
Repeat on opposite side of work table.
7.
Remove snapper pin (Figure 1, Item 7) detaching lanyard (Figure 1, Item 9) from support pipe Figure 1, Item
6). Repeat on opposite side of work table.
8.
Remove lat washer (Figure 1, Item 5) from support pipe (Figure 1, Item 6). Repeat on opposite side of work
table.
WARNING
A two man lift is required when moving or lifting material roll. Trying to move or lift material roll
without suficient help can cause SERIOUS INJURY to personnel.
9.
Carefully shift and pull support pipe (Figure 1, Item 6) to remove material roll (Figure 1, Item 13) from inside
work table (Figure 1, Item 19).
10. Remove eight lag bolts (Figure 1, Item 16), eight lock washers (Figure 1, Item 17), and eight lat washers
(Figure 1, Item 18) detaching work surface (Figure 1, Item 1) from work table (Figure 1, Item 19).
11. Remove four lock nuts (Figure 1, Item 10) detaching four casters (Figure 1, Item 11) from work table (Figure
1, Item 19).
INSTALLATION
WORK TABLE ASSEMBLY (SINGLE ROLL)
1.
Install four casters (Figure 1, Item 11) into bottom of work table (Figure 1, Item 19) with four lock nuts (Figure
1, Item 10).
2.
If a new work surface (Figure 1, Item 1) must be installed:
a.
Position work surface (Figure 1, Item 1), inished side up, on top of work table (Figure 1, Item 19).
b.
Ensure work surface (Figure 1, Item 1) is lush with the sides of work table (Figure 1, Item 19). The work
surface (Figure 1, Item 1) should have approximately 1-1/4 inch over hang off the front and back of work
table (Figure 1, Item 19).
