b.
Ensure work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) is lush with back side of cabinet with a two inch over hang on the
front side of cabinet. Work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) should over hang 15 inches on left and right side of
cabinet.
c.
On inside of shelf cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6), mark eight hole placements in top of cabinet on non-
inished side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 5).
d.
After eight hole placement marks have been made, lip work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) over with non-
inished side up.
e.
On non-inished side of work surface Figure 6, Item 5) at eight marked hole placements, center punch
and drill eight 5/16 inch holes to a depth of 3/4 inch.
f.
Return work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) inished side up, on top of shelf cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6).
3.
If a new four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6) has been installed:
a.
Use holes (Figure 6, Item 14, 15, and 16) of existing work surface (Figure 6, Item 5 to determine drill bit
sizes.
b.
Match drill holes of work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) through four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6).
4.
If a new work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) has been installed and/or a new work surface and four drawer cabinet
(E) (Figure 6, Item 6) has been installed:
a.
Measure from left side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) towards right 18.50 inches and from front of
work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) towards back 7.25 inches and mark measurement (Figure 6, Item 15).
b.
Measure from left side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) towards right 24.50 inches and from front of
work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) towards back 7.25 inches and mark measurement (Figure 6, Item 16).
c.
Measure from left side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) towards right 24.50 inches and from front of
work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) towards back 1.50 inches and mark measurement (Figure 6, Item 14).
d.
Center punch and drill three 1/2 inch holes (Figure 6, Item 14, 15, and 16) through work surface (Figure
6, Item 5) and four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6).
5.
Align bolt holes in work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) with bolt holes on top of shelf cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6).
6.
Install eight lag bolts (Figure 6, Item 1), eight lock washers (Figure 6, Item 2), six large lat washers (Figure 6,
Item 3), and two small lat washers (Figure 6, Item 4) securing work surface (Figure 6, Item 5) to shelf cabinet
(E) (Figure 6, Item 6).
7.
Install four bolts (Figure 6, Item 8), eight lat washers (Figure 6, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 6, Item 2),
and four nuts (Figure 6, Item 9) securing two cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 7) into shelf cabinet (E) (Figure
6, Item 6).
8.
Install hardware attaching shelf cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6), to shelter wall and loor IAW WP 0041 00,
Cabinets (E) Hardware , INSTALLATION.
9.
Install drawers, slides, and shelves as necessary IAW Drawers, Slides, And Shelves, INSTALLATION.
10. Install kick plate IAW Kick Plate, INSTALLATION.
