Remove work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) from top of shelf cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 5).
6.
Remove four bolts (Figure 6, Item 11), eight lat washers (Figure 6, Item 10), four lock washers (Figure 6,
Item 2), and four nuts (Figure 6, Item 9) detaching two cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 12) from four drawer
cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 5).
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
FOUR DRAWER CABINET (E)
1.
If cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 12) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM
1-1500-204-23. Repair must not interfere with form, it, or function of cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 12).
2.
Paint repaired cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 12) IAW WP 0069 00, Figure 6.
INSTALLATION
FOUR DRAWER CABINET (E)
1.
Align bolt holes in work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) with bolt holes (Figure 6, Item 13) on top of four drawer
cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 5).
2.
Install four bolts (Figure 6, Item 1), four lock washers (Figure 6, Item 2), and four lat washers (Figure 6, Item
3) securing work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) to four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 5).
3.
Install four bolts (Figure 6, Item 11), eight lat washers (Figure 6, Item 10), four lock washers (Figure 6, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 6, Item 9) securing two cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 12) into four drawer cabinet
(E) (Figure 6, Item 5).
4.
If a new four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 5) has been installed:
a.
Use holes (Figure 6, Item 6 through 8) of existing work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) to determine drill bit
sizes.
b.
Match drill holes of work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) through four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 5).
5.
If a new work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) has been installed and/or a new work surface and four drawer cabinet
(E) (Figure 6, Item 5) has been installed:
a.
Measure from left side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) towards right 3.50 inches and from front of work
surface (Figure 6, Item 4) towards back 7.00 inches and mark measurement (Figure 6, Item 6).
b.
Measure from left side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) towards right 9.25 inches and from front of work
surface (Figure 6, Item 4) towards back 7.00 inches and mark measurement (Figure 6, Item 8).
c.
Measure from left side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) towards right 9.25 inches and from front of work
surface (Figure 6, Item 4) towards back 1.50 inches and mark measurement (Figure 6, Item 7).
d.
Center punch and drill three 1/2 inch holes (Figure 6, Item 6 through 8) through work surface (Figure 6,
Item 4) and shelf cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 5).
6.
Install hardware attaching shelf cabinet (G) (Figure 6, Item 6) to shelter loor IAW WP 0043 00, Cabinets (C),
(D), and (E) Hardware, INSTALLATION.
7.
Install drawers, slides, and shelves as necessary IAW Drawers, Slides, And Shelves, INSTALLATION.
8.
Install kick plate IAW Kick Plate, INSTALLATION.
